Ann-Sophie Weiss Bruhn has several years of experience from both the business and the public sectors of Denmark, most recently she was the Danish Ministry of Business and Industry's national expert in the European Parliament. From this experience, Ann-Sophie gained inside knowledge of the public sector, by working with EU Internal Market, with strategic timely lobbying offering advice towards industries and authorities on rules and procedures. Most recently, Ann-Sophie has been part of the political scene in Brussels, where she sat in the European Parliament's secretariat for the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee (IMCO). Ann-Sophie worked closely with MEPs, political advisors, assistants and others, and has thereby built up a solid network across the EU institutions.
Ann-Sophie Weiss Bruhn carries a Law degree from the University of Copenhagen, with a dissertation on EU affairs. Ann-Sophie has furthermore studied International Relations at London School of Economics and Political Science and worked with international trade at the Permanent Mission of Denmark at the UN in Genève.
