With 8 years of experience from Christiansborg and Slotsholmen, Andreas Thyrring has an in-depth understanding of Danish politics and strategic communication, which he manages to translate into sound advice for decision-makers at the highest level.
Andreas was head of the Liberal Party's Center for Communication and Politics at Christiansborg in the period 2018-2020, as part of the Liberal Party's leadership and one of the closest political advisors to Liberal Party Presidents Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Jakob Ellemann-Jensen. Andreas was part of the circle that laid out the strategy and executed the Liberal Party's campaigns to the Folketing and the European Parliament in 2019.
Prior to that, Andreas worked from 2015-2018 as special advisor in the Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate Change, where he gained an in-depth knowledge of the political decision-making processes in the civil service as well as agendas such as climate, energy and sustainability.
Prior to that, Andreas worked from 2012-2015 as a political consultant in the Liberal Party's Center for Communication and Politics at Christiansborg.
Andreas graduated with a master degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen in 2012. Andreas has taken a management education at the Center for Management as well as courses in strategic communication at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
Andreas is affiliated with the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen as an external lecturer, where he teaches political advice and communication.
