Mikael Børsting has been Special Advisor to Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen for four years, both in the government and in the Liberal Party (Venstre). He was a member of the party leadership group during the entire period, with direct responsibility for planning and coordinating all internal and external communication. In 2014 Mikael Børsting became Public Affairs director and partner in the largest Scandinavian partnership-based communication agency Geelmuyden Kiese, with responsibility for national and international clients’ political interests. In 2016 he founded Ulveman & Børsting together with Michael Ulveman. Mikael has extensive experience within strategic communication, and a solid knowledge of political decisional processes.
Mikael Børsting carries a degree in Journalism from the University of South Denmark. He worked as political reporter for several national newspapers; BT, Altinget, Information and Politiken. He has also written two successful political biographies.
